I was recently registering for SOTM and was a little bit confused about some advertisement I find on the page. I can understand that payments for convenience and security reasons are processed by paypal (they operate worldwide, ...), but is it really necessary to advertise facebook? As far as I guess there is only few of the people going to SOTM registered at facebook. Does facebook sponsor the event or what's the reason for their presence?
