Hi there, The idea for the wiki page, is to provide a start page (for OSM users), As a way to keep track of whats going on, so this is an 'unofficial version' Once information is noted on the official website, i guess there is no need to post it on the wiki page.
So it's the same thing for other applications like maperaitive, where there is an external website. So the wiki page just serves as a quick reference, and users know to check the official page for the latest updates. So then extra tips & tricks that users find can be added to the wiki, as the product is always under development. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Maperitive So yes, i did also notice that the reference was not listed correctly on the sautter.com map view. http://sautter.com/map/?zoom=14&lat=48.77402&lon=-123.69374&layers=00000BTFFFTTFF http://sautter.com It appears that yahoo imagery was done correctly, as well as the cyclemap, and NASA SRTM is also listed correctly. Im not an open layers programmer, so i have no idea how to fix it. Hopefully this can be changed, then the screen-view could also be changed to an updated version, as the one i made was showing what the website can do, and mapquest as a side-benifit. Probably a screen view of the yahoo image / mapqest hybred would be sufficient. (Or removing the image would also be fine) Cheers, Sam Twitter: @Acrosscanada Blogs: http://acrosscanadatrails.posterous.com/ http://Acrosscanadatrails.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/sam.vekemans Skype: samvekemans IRC: irc://irc.oftc.net #osm-ca Canadian OSM channel (an open chat room) @Acrosscanadatrails _______________________________________________ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
