And much easier for editors. I had to break Whittier Blvd into many pieces here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=34.0171&lon=-118.1546&zoom=15&layers=M to add turn restrictions for the anti-cruising measures. There are streets near downtown LA that have no-left during peak hours across many intersections in a row to speed up traffic, which could benefit from this, too.

Syntax should probably should be something like restriction:<role>=<restriction>[;<restriction>...] just to be clear, though I can only picture it being used for the "from" role at the moment.
