excuse me, I was unprecise. I am rendering the whole world up to zoom 5, and from 6 to 8 central Europe, but 9 to 15 only a part of Italy (43 to 40.6 lat), so the fewer data for NZ would get compensated by the bigger area. I use a really basic setup though, which is not efficient (no metatiles), so I guess there is room for optimization.
