I'd also like to add that people get more excited about OpenStreetMap when they see their changes instantly added. I've trained people in both Potlatch, Potlatch2 and JOSM. I pick the tool depending on specific class. Areas with bad/no internet access we use JOSM and changes are immediately seen (people never seem that excited).
