BTW, if you are interested, in using lucene, you might jave a workaround using http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/YaCy

YaCy itself is a P2P search engine, that has (if required a lucnene backend). Unfortunatly the OSM support is quiet poor (no geposition by Links), but I guess this will become better.
