These tags have been created for periodic events, not for stuffs that
disappeared. To be clear, if I find elements in OSM that do not exist
anymore "today" in my area, I'll delete them.
THAT is exactly the point !!!!!
Since start_date is DEFINED for construction date ... use for 'periodic events'
is just a secondary matter.
BUT we need somewhere to KEEP the very data you take pleasure in destroying !!!!
