That's precisely why we'll want to consider the messages carefully and culturally. So, please participate. When I contact new local mappers, I write differently than I do when I write to distant mappers. No sense in inviting FarAways to Toronto Mappy Hour. They'd be welcome. But, yeah, not the best use of the ASCII characters... And, we don't really know.
