Dear all, house numbers are one of the areas where in OSM a lot of things are still to do even in well mapped regions. To support mapping efforts, there are two new tools available
http://overpass-api.de/api/hausnummern shows the already existing house numbers. This allows to plan the next mapping tour more centered around poorly covered regions. These are shown on zoom levels 16 to 18. For example a mixed situation in the potential SoTM city Birmingham: http://overpass- api.de/api/hausnummern?zoom=16&lat=52.48185&lon=-1.91794&layers=BT (link in one line) http://qa.poole.ch/ shows buildings that don't have a house number. This is helpful to spot forgotten addresses.
