A strong bug report would list the Operating System and version, and include reports on the behavior on other comparable platforms (e.g. what happens with Chrome/IE/Opera on the same machine), and with other complex javascript applications.
A browser crashing is a browser bug: nothing iD can do should crash Firefox. The bug is a reportable bug against Firefox, and it might be a really hard one to ever resolve.
