Hi, tonight at the Karlsruhe pub meet we discussed a potential SOTM-EU 2014. (Nothing's public about SOTM 2014 yet but it is unlikely to be in Europe again.)
There was some enthusiasm about doing it in Karslruhe in Germany. We have a large local team and considerable conference experience through past Linux conferences, and there's enough tech companies around to go looking for sponsors. Is anyone planning anything similar, or any smaller conferences in Europe that might clash with an Europe-wide event in Karlsruhe? Nobody has made any plans about dates yet but it would probably rather be before the summer than after, and if we went ahead with the plan we'd of course want to avoid any schedule trouble.
