I think the important part is doing the rendering, deciding on zoom levels and all this. This is going to be some work and will need some time. Once that works we can decide what to do with the rendering. Bringing it into taginfo would be quite easy I presume. We could even extend the already existing taginfo feature for embedding taginfo results in the wiki to bring those renderings into the wiki if we want to. That would be much easier to do than to try to edit the wiki automatically with all the problems it brings. As a first step I suggest you look at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Taginfo/Projects and see whether your rendering can be brought into taginfo that way.
