f-droid crashes also. Maybe I will find an older version that works. I was able to install the 1.9, and 1.8 and 1.7 apk packages, but the 2.0 already causes a reboot. I think it would be ok to run the 1.x series, but is there a way to get the paid version without f-droid? Obviously the playstore always wants to install the latest.
