this often doesn't help though, because in remote areas there is nothing to "administer". Some time ago the case of the Mont Blanc came up on a local mailing list, more precisely in which language the name should be tagged (the decision was to put both names into the name tag: http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/281399025/history although France is claiming to "administer" the peak alone).
