Excellent idea. I map very carefully and am often frustrated when I find one of my objects has been altered with incorrect information, or deleted.
I don't mind if my objects are improved, but generally they are not. I'd like to be informed that something I worked on has been edited or deleted, then I can check if it's an improvement, or fix it if it has become broken.
