By standard, I meant the one that comes if you don't choose. I bought mine
through a dealer, who didn't mention a trial or a choice of voice.

There is no standard voice. That is why when you get a trial, you should
try everything. The trial gives you that ability. This is why i use a
trial on any new model of phone i may buy. This gives me a chance to see
that the phone is working correctly and also gives me a chance to try the
other voices on that model of phone.

I love that idea. I'd really like to hear what the other voices sound

and would consider buying one if I liked it better than the standard.

Hello all.
I think a brilliant improvement on Talks is once a license has been
activated Talks could still let you try the other voices, even though it
may only work for ten minutes. At least then the user can decide if they
wish to purchase the voice or not. At the minute once we are licensed we
are locked to that voice.
What do you think?
