Hi,

There is a nomail option. To control this and a variety of other list
options go to:
http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks

Find the edit box below the following text:
To unsubscribe from Talks, get a password reminder, or change your
subscription options
enter your subscription email address:

Enter your email address and click unsubscribe/edit. It will then
prompt you for your list password. This is contained in the monthly
reminder email sent to all at the beginning of each month. From inside
there you can set options including setting yourself to nomail.
