Yes you can use Google or Yahoo on the web interface of your phone to get
this information. Talks will work with the web so this will work. Try typing
in something like "coordinates of then the name of the city" and then
selecting the GO button. Others will have other web sites that you can use
on your phone that will more then likely just give you that information
without additional stuff to go through. I used this way to get the
coordinates of the guide dog school before I went there so I could load all
the street crossing for that area into LoadStone-GPS which works with Talks
to tell you whare you are.

Subject: [Talks] Application which will give coordinates of town or city
Hi Listers
Does anyone know of an application where one can type the
name of a town or city and then it displays the coordinates?
Regards
Fanus
