Beings i do not use the later version of pc suite! I do recall with the later versions of pc suite, you can send and recieve text messages when your phone is connected to your pc. So yes if everything is working you would have gotten a message on your pc when a text message came in with the later versions of pc suite. Your phone should have also played a alert. This information is on the Nokia web site. At least that is where i recall reading it. How well it work i have no idea. Do you need the Nokia stuff also installed on your phone before you can send/recieve sms messages, again i do not know. Does any of this have issues with Talks? Again i do not know. I would think not being pc suite is just getting it's information from the phone at that point. Is this ability for all phones? I do not know. Probably would have to make sure you have the latest pc suite software driver on the phone before there is any chance of it working.
