That is the option you want. Just set this to basic. ----- Original Message ----- From: "gary price" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 25, 2010 10:26 AM Subject: [Talks] Turn off the Active Standby feature on N86?
Hello everyone. Please could someone possibly tell me how I turn the Active Standby feature off on my N86? I want my phone to announce the date on the home screen, which it is currently not doing. All I am getting is 02 UK Window, where as Hannah gets the date and what day it is as well. I spoke to another person who is on this list, Chris Hallsworth and he suggested to turn off this feature. But 2 friends one of who is on this list also, Hannah Day and Clare Henson both can't help me out, because they have never done it even though they have exactly the same phone. I have gone into the settings, and had a look around, but all I can see relating to standby is standby theme. Many thanks in advance, any responses would be appreciated. -- Gary Price Email, MSN and Facebook: [email protected] Skype: gary.price35 Klango: Gary_Price _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list [email protected] http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list [email protected] http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
