I promise you the keyboard is very easy to use. all the keys are domed and
not flat so it's unlikely you will press 2 keys when learning. I was
concerned about the same thing but as soon as I felt the keyboard I knew it
would not be a problem. Also another keyboard learning tip is instead of
holding the phone with the bottom edge pointing toward you turn the phone 90
degrees so the length of each key instead of being left to right across your
finger tip will be from finger tip toward first finger joint: you will be
amazed at how big the keys seem to be. Then as you build your confidence
you can use the phone normally.
I owned an iphone for a month and decided that a phone with a full qwerty
keyboard was the only way to go but not if the keys were the normal nokia
numeric key tops and it was with trepidation I removed my new e72 from the
box. The person who recommended the e72 was right excluding the softkeys,
send and end and the rocker keys the other keys are totally different.

Hi Bernard,
You give the E72 quite a glowing recommendation. I'll have to seriously
consider this as I'm thinking about offloading my N86. Was going to buy
the
Nokia N8 and I still might after my trial (current have it on pre-order).
I've never used a phone with a QWERTY keyboard before and as I do rely on
e-mail and SMS use I'm a little concerned about how I'll cope with that,
but
I'm more than willing to try it out at least and see how I get on.
Thanks,

You should look at the e72 with outstanding reception with a 7 bar
reading
most of the time including a car journey from southern Sydney to east
Maitland with a 7 bar reading all the way excluding 2 6 bar readings each
lasting for only a few seconds.
The battery life is very good with both bluetooth and wifi active the
entire time as skype is running in the background checking for email
every
15 minutes. After 3 days with a reboot daily the battery reading was 2
bars. I don't disable phone features to save battery so you can count on
at
least 80 hours.
gps reception again is very good. on walks at certain points other nokia
models give a reading of 66 percent the e72 gives a reading of 100
percent.
with it's full qwerty tactile keyboard both emails and text messaging are
just so easy and fast. there is a tactile dot below the g key which is
also
the number 5. There are 4 modes 2 business 2 personal each can be
configured differently including shortcuts and one touch keys.
the e72 comes with a full working version of quick office that can be
upgraded to the latest version at any time which is totally free.
personally I wished they had put in a second speaker apart from that
point
I
think the e72 or for telstra customers e72-2 should be considered when
upgrading or purchasing a phone.
next mobile in Queensland fortitude valley currently sells the e72-2 for
$459 with the normal e72 cheaper that that. The latest talks works
perfectly in the e72-2 including the built in email client .
It's the slimmest mobile phone I have ever seen including the iphone.
