Hi there,
If you want to use the FM radio on your Nokia phone, you have to let the
headphone be plugged into your phone to serve as an antenna. But be careful
to mute talks, by pressing talks and then the clear button, before entering
The FM radio application, because there will be a voice conflict and you
won't be able to hear your radio. This is what I have observed on my 6120
classic using talks 4.0.
You can alternatively use internet radios that require no headphone. For
this you have to investigate on how to connect your phone to internet,
concerning your local circumstances.
Hope that helps,
Hamid

No you do not need to use headphones if you are using the internet radio
program. You only need to do that if you are wanting to use the FM radio.
So
streaming over the internet doesn't require you to use any headphones at
all. I do it almost on a daily bases with no headphones on my n95 dash 3
this is also true for my n86. Note the internet radio is not the same as
the
FM radio. So make sure that you are talking about the correct program. In
this case, you are not talking about the internet radio program but the FM
radio program that does require headphones. The other platform you are
talking about doesn't have a FM radio interface.

Hi All,
I wonder if someone can explain something to me.
If I want to listen to say internet radio or something similar via the
web
on my N86, then I need to plug in headphones.
Now, alternatively, if I want to do this using my iPhone, then I can
hear
live streaming without headphones ETC.
I haven't tried this on my N97.
Is this to do with the generation of the phone or am I being a bit thick
here.
Thanks.
