According to GSMArena.com the E71 and E72 are running different levels of the OS. E71: Symbian OS 9.2, Series 60 v3.1 UI E72: Symbian OS 9.3, Series 60 v3.2 UI So I'm not sure it's fair to speculate how a FW update on one phone will compare to a FW update on the other. Either way, my advice is that if it isn't broken, don't fix it.
