In that case, with a physical problem with the phone. Then i would suggest that you get a adapter to use that has a volume control on it. If your phone has a 3.5 headset jack on it. Then get a AD-43 or a AD-54 adapter from Nokia. Both of these adapters will allow you to raze and lower the volume. They will also allow you to switch tracks along with being able to answer calls. You could also use the headset that comes with most Nokia phones to do the same type of things.

Many thanks. My music player is playing again after doing a soft reset. I think the problem is that my volume control will turn down but not up due to a physical problem with the phone. But at least it's playing again, so I plan to leave the volume where it is. Many thanks for your help. Best wishes, Brian. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of syed imran Sent: 07 February 2011 11:21 To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] [Problem with music player on N86 Also try doing a "soft reset" on your phone which will restore your phone to its original configuration. don't worry, it doesn't delete any messages/contacts/applications.. but you will have to re personalize your phone settings once again. Your talks settings will remain as it is. So if you want to do a soft reset - enter *#7780# in the standby screen on your phone, say yes, give your phone locking code and the phone will soon restart with the default nokia settings..
