In line with what Neil is saying, I have a C5 and have a note taker whereby
I can write notes. In addition I have Total Recall which is an application
I can access with Talks and is useful if I wish to record a telephone
conversation and can also be used for memos. Note with recording telephone
conversations, this needs to have the other person's permission legally.

Just a quick note, if your question had been worded I'm looking for some
Talks accessible software to do this it would have been perfectly on topic
for this list, assuming this is what you're after then I believe that most
if not all Nokia Symbian phones have this capability built right in, if
not then I'm sure that an option on the www.blindsea.com site will have an
option for you.
these apps are all Talks compatible.
