Hello!
On my E72, when using IMAP, I can connect to my mailbox when selecting it
and pressing Softkey 1. Is this option not available on your phone? Also,
are you using the correct ports and authentication type for Google's
IMAP-servers? I've heard some people saying Nokia E-mail is a bit quirky
when it comes to setting up mailboxes, though I never had a problem myself.
You can always try choosing Gmail isntead of IMAP to see if that works.

Can someone please tell me how to use this application? I have set
Googlemail up via Imap, but now I don't know how to connect to the
mailbox, retrieve messages, etc. All I can see when I open it is:
"Googlemail", "New", "Settings" and "Help".
All help would be greatly appreciated. Using Talks 5.20.3 on a Nokia N86.
