Hi, i've noticed with the latest talks and the other screen reader that somehow there are some clashes. If you are to start 1 screen reader while the other still running, the newly active screen reader will be very sluggish. It is advisable in my opinion, to completely switch off one before starting the other. Hth.

What version is the TTS that you are using? Did you try doing a Talks followed by a long press of the Clear key to either unload the current TTS or to bring up the TTS list if you have more then one installed. Then you can either do a Talks followed by a press of clear to reload the current TTS or you can arrow to another TTS and press select if more then one is installed.
