Hi Paulo, The first part of your question about Talks version has already been answered.
For the second part about being informed where you are, I have found a kind of work-around which, though not perfect, can be a help. If you press '2' on the keypad whilst following a route, Nokia Maps will say something like 'save place?' and give the name of where you are. At that point you can back out by pressing soft key 2 to cancel, but you have found out where you are. H.T.H.
