I have now got the solution to this problem.
To open the link, i did the following.
1. I opened up that email which contained a link. I had already set my cursir 
mode to origenal.
Although talks did not do a better job in moving the cursir to that link, i 
somehow mannaged to do that.
2. After that i pressed rite arrow, and i got to options i.e., open in web, and 
bookmark.
I just pressed enter on open in web option.
Hope this helps to all c5 users.

I wonder if it could have something to with the format the email was sent 
in? Also try highlighting the URL with the cursor then pressing soft key 1 
and finding the option to open the link.

Before following these steps, make sure autofind is set to off and
cursor mode is set to original. If you have multiple objects in the
message, you may need to use the arrow key a few times to get to it.
Check for the open link option each time you press the arrow key.
