This is what I did. I went to the internet and foundsome Bible versions that come on CDs in MP3 format. I got the Message Bible and the NIV dramatized. There are others as well. When they arrived I copied the files onto my PC and then transferred the books that I wanted onto my phone. Each chapter is one file so you can easily pick what book you want to listen to and go to the chapter you want to listen to. It has worked very well for me. That's the only way I've found to have a Bible available in an accessible format. I set up a folder for the Message Bible and inside that a NT and an OT folder and inside each of those each book that I transferred onto my phone as a folder and then the chapters under each book. Now here's the draw back and it's something to consider. Because these are MP3 files they show up in your music player just like blind mice movies do. So I ended up with 2,000 "ringtones" on my phone. A little daunting when I went to change a ring tone or notification tone. So then I went back through all of the bible files and the movie files because this worked quite well. I renamed the files with an unlikely letter in front of each similar group. So each of my Message bible file have a Z at the beginning. My NIV files have an X and my movie files have a ZZ at the beginning. That way my music files are together at the beginning. I renamed them with a 0. Was it a lot of work? Yes, but now that I have it done, I have a copy on my PC and when I change phones I can copy the whole thing onto the next phone. It just takes a while for it to copy, but it works. If I'd thought about all of this in the beginning I could have renamed files as I copied them onto my PC and it wouldn't have seemed like such a long process as when I had to go back and do it all afterward. That's why I went into such detail here. Maybe after hearing this someone clever person when have a better idea which I'd love to hear for next time, but that's what I came up with.
