But that isn't going to do what she is wanting to do. She is wanting to use it in a class room setting to translate spoken speech to text while a person is Talking. No program is going to be able to keep up with that kind of activity for 60 minutes or more on a phone. I think even a pc wouldn't be able to keep up with the translation. The phone doesn't have that kind of power. This is true for all phones including the IPhone. They all send it out to a server and then the server sends back the speech changed to text. It is ok for short messages but i wouldn't want to record a long message and then send it up to a server. That could take a while. Even using wireless lan.
