If that was addressed to me I sent a SMS through Yahoo Messenger. All works fine now. I bet if the Sim was replaced as soon as the person turned on the phone it would ask for the lock code. The lock code security is for phone and sim. But, just to further test the security feature I am going to buy a Sim card from the other network and see what happens.

I have not tried it but why not u send a sms instead of an email.

Allan, if someone have enable the remote security, most probably they have
also enable the lock phone if sim card change so no way the person can on
the phone after inserting their card.

I have tried but disabled back the remote locking cause even from Offline
Mode to Online Mode of our phone, the program will ask for a lock code when
you enable the remote lock.

All the best.

I was able to set my E66 to remote lock "yes" in the Phone Sim security
settings. However, when I sent a message to my phone using
Yahoo Messenger nothing happened. What do you think I did wrong? What I
did wrong was I didn’t turn the phone off after receiving
the text message. Once I did that and turned it back on Talks asked me for
my lock code.
