As Stephen suggested once a week I would just power the phone off and back
on again anyway. In the normal cycle of things this would happen anyway when
the battery is drained. This type of thing is going to happen at some point
no matter what you do. One thing I try to remember to do is press the clear
button after a phone call or every time I go back to the standby screen. Not
sure if this helps or not but can't hurt.

Thanks, guys.

Dave: When the problem first began, I hadn't installed a thing. I'm
not much of an app user. It worked for weeks, then one day it just
didn't.

Stephen: I asked myself those same questions when the problem became
persistent last week. I erased all emails in my inbox, outbox and sent
message, plus wiped out all emails. I even cleared out all reports.
Once I performed a hard reset, the handful of messages I'd received in
the interim were nuked anyhow. At the moment, I have 81 texts in my
inbox, 0 drafts, 46 sent messages and 48 emails, many of which haven't
yet been downloaded. The only program running is the home screen.

Thanks,
Michelle
