Yes you can copy these files over to your pc for safe keeping and then you can copy them back to your phone if needed. Depending on what you do with Talks, you could find 3 different types of files. A DICT file that will have your graphic and dictionary stuff in it. A settings file for setting you may make for a program. And a CONF for role changes for a program.
Like i've said, you can copy these to your pc and restore them back to the phone if needed. If you restore them, turn off and on the phone to ensure that Talks picks up the new files. The files are in the following places. In phone memory they could be found in! C:/Data/Others/Talks if on a memory card or a built in flash drive which the letter may be E or F: the directory is /Others/Talks. By default Talks will store the files in the memory of where you installed Talks to. However in saying this if you are restoring the files, you can put them on any of the drives on the phone as long as you use the correct directory for the drive. Talks looks at all the drives when it loads for the different files. In saying that, as far as i can tell, if you have a file on two different drives on the phone that has the same name. Talks will load the 1st one it finds and ignores other files of the same name on other drives of the phone. This is how i would expect it to work.
