to Denise, Eleanor and all, FYI, the torch lighte feature appear on E6 and as to some other phones is uses the camera flash light at the back of the phone. so for what Eleanor asking whether the light can be an external light while taking photo if the location is not bright enough, this is not possible, because it will be working together with the camera if the flash feature turn on within the camera UI.
