The only solution is to upgrade your Talks to the latest version which is V5.21.3.
To delete off your gmail account, you can go into your Messeging, then press option and select Setting. from here, select Email and then select Mail Boxes. Once in there, you should be able to see the gmail, press option and select delete. Hope it's the same with E72.
