They are excellent. I use my left index finger. Hold the phone in my right
hand. Takes getting used to but I am reasonably fast. As for what sighted
people. They look where they are going when walking about. A blind person uses
different strategies. It is the same when using a phone. The E71 and E72 plus
the E5 are all phones which do not have touch screens. The buttons are small
but clearly marked to the touch. Each button is larger than a giant Braille dot
so touch should not be a problem unless you have a medical problem such as
Diabetes which impairs your sense of touch or unless you have exceptionally
large fingers making it very clumbsy to touch very small objects with the pad
of your finger.

Subject: [Talks] QWERTY keypad and Talks

Dear QWERTY Keypad Users,
I note that many Talks users are using phones with full QWERTY keypad. Without
using vision, how do you manage to type at a reasonable speed? I have spoken to
many sighted persons who use full QWERTY keypad and they all confirm that they
are looking at the keys when they type. So how do you manage without visual
feedback?
Thanks, Noni :)
