I've used a 16GB card in the N82, and the N86 and the N95* models and it works. So if a 16GB card will work, then a 32GB card will also work. However in saying that, you should make sure that your phone has the latest firmware for the N82, I think that is 30.x or 35.x. Also be aware that a larger card will cause the phone to start up slower being it has more information to process on the card. Going from a 4GB card to a 16GB card added a good 20 extra seconds before I could use the phone. Also keep in mind, if you load a larg card like this up with MP3/WAV/etc... files you could have other issues with built in programs like the Profiles program as far as being able to set a default ring tone. Note the word COULD.
