Not sure I can help with any of your problems. You do not say if you are running Anna or Belle. You touch the screen differently for each of the different i operating systems. Soft key 1 is on the left of screen and soft key 2 on bottom right. What is the hardship in pressing Talks followed by arrow down to read your e-mails. If you have no vision and are running Belle, you should be able to label icons on the active home screen using the object viewer in Talks, however labelling is not possible with Belle. That said, I have enough vision to recognise an icon and interestingly the ones I have set up on the active screen have the labels there but unlike with Anna where one can arrow through the icons, with Belle one has to identify them by holding your finger on a screen and dragging it across, when you are at the icon you want, you then lift your finger away and tap it once to open. -----Original message----- From: Tasha Sent: 02/07/2012, 12:11 am To: [email protected] Subject: [Talks] Fw: talks on nokia e6
----- Original Message ----- From: Tasha To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, July 01, 2012 4:45 PM Subject: talks on nokia e6 Hi, I just installed Talks on my e6, and have a couple of questions. 1. Since the e6 has lots of keys, is it possible to get talks to recognize keys like calendar or mail as soft keys? I'm having trouble using the soft keys on the display. I can sometimes get key 1 to work, by tapping it many times, but I can't really get key 2 to work. 2. I would like to be able to use Emoze, so that I can avoid having to hit the command to get Talks to read a browser every time I get an email. I can't figure out how to add a notification on my homescreen for emoze, and when i click on the popup telling me I have a new message, it goes to my inbox, and not my mailbox. 3. I asked this on the other list, but in case any one can help: On my e72, I used to be able to unzip bookshare books using the zip manager, and then read the html files using the browser. this works better than the bookshare app, or the daisy one. However, I can't get this to work on my e6. When I try to unzip a file, I get a message saying that the book was corrupted. I've downloaded multiple books with the same result. Any help for any of these problems would be appreciated.
