We're pleased to announce a special tango weekend at
Tango
nada mas on October 29-31. Leandro, Andrea and Gabriel
were the stars of Santa Fe Tango Week. They are not only
wonderful dancers, but some of the most thorough teachers ever
seen in the US.
There will be a total of 8 workshops in this intensive learning
weekend. They will teach tango combinations ("steps") on specific
topics, always focused on technique. Tango, milonga and vals will
all be taught in these intermediate/advanced level classes.
We will also hold a special costume milonga that will include a full
show
featuring both couples! Those of you who were here last March
know the
kind of show that Leandro and Andrea put on.

Saturday, October 30
12 pm - 1:30 pm Tango (L&A) - Turns
2 pm - 3:30 pm Milonga (G&M) - Traspies
4 pm - 5:30 pm Tango (L&A) - Embellishments
Sunday, October 31
12 pm - 1:30 pm Vals (G&M) - Corriditas
2 pm - 3:30 pm Milonga (L&A) - Turns for milonga
4 pm - 5:30 pm Tango (G&M) - Amagues (fakes)
Milonga
This costume milonga will feature a show with both couples, prizes
for best costume, and other special surprises. Remember, the
only way to guarantee a reserved seat is to register for the
weekend. All other seats will be on a first-come first-served basis.
Price for the weekend is $215/person
Includes:
Admission to all classes
Admission and reserved seating for the Saturday Night milonga.
Individual workshops are available at $30/person/class
Milonga admission is $20/person
Private classes available throughout the week. Cost is $100/hr.
