New Year's Eve the Cabana Crowne Plaza of Palo Alto will be giving us the 9000 Sq. Ball Room for this event. You will be dancing to benefit a clinic that helps mainly Hispanic women and their children with health care. This clinic also tests for HIV and educates people on the subject.(after all Tango is Safe Sex)!! We welcome everyone that will be in the area that night. there are two ways you can contribute. One way is to pay $55.00 and dance with people sponsoring you to dance just as a bike-athon or a walk-athon. Or you can pay $65.00 and $10.00 of every ticket will go to the Clinic. Bob MacKenzie from channel 2 will be hosting this event and will be dancing until he drops. There will be media coverage and interviews,food,soft drinks on the house, great music of tango and salsa, two dance floors. Champagne $10.00 a bottle and wine will be $12.00 a bottle from a local winery in Woodside. Elegant attire is requested. The Hotel is offering a great price to all those who attend this affair a $139.00 pck. of double accommodations and brunch the next day. So you can celebrate and not have to worry about driving.
