Hola List members,
We are having a big celebration on the evening of the 31st for the new year.
There will be a local television personality hosting the festivities and this
event is supported by Freddy Maddelena of Maddelenna's and Cafe Fino. Both of
whom support tango in the community.
There will be a television crew from local access headed up by a great
director in the local area capturing this passion of tango and interviewing
that same day.
There will be classes given from noon-1.00 pm by George Guim beginners are
welcome here.Christy Cote will take the class from 1:00-2:00pm. There will be
a $10.00 charge for the two hours.
>From 2:00- 4:00 pm Carlos Gavito and Marcela Durand have agreed to come to
Palo Alto to give classes to those who cannot get to San Francisco at a cost
of $35.00 before that day in advance. Or $40.00 at the door.
Last week in San Francisco he was most generous with his time and extended
the class for a half hour more to make sure everyone could understand what he
was teaching. Here is a chance to take advantage of a master and a great way

The banquet room in the Hotel Crowne Plaza is quite large and can accommodate
everyone comfortably.
At that time you could make your reservations for that evening for the
celebration which would be $65.00 to dance and eat until 3.00 am.
