Greetings! Saturday, January 8 - Yanina and Marcelo will teach at La Milonga de Jeanne, class 8:30-9:30 p.m. followed by the Milonga until 1 a.m. At approximately 10:30 p.m. they will give a performance. Cost is $15 for the class and dance, and $10 for the dance alone. This is held at the Lafayette Veteran's Hall, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette.
Sunday, November 9 - Yanina will hold her technique workshop for women and men at The Studio, 1018 Almanor Lane, Lafayette. This 2-hour workshop will focus on foot embellishments/adornments and musicality. Exercises will concentrate on the development of foot embellishments for both women AND men. The cost is $30. Please call Jeanne (925) 283-0191 to reserve. Saturday, November 15 - They will teach at The Danceasy, 9951 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito, from 8-9 p.m., followed the Milonga. Cost for class and Milonga is $12. Sunday, November 16 - Yanina and Marcelo will do a workshop at The Danceasy, El Cerrito, from 1-4 p.m. The theme of this workshop is the Gancho. Call Fay Villanueva at (805) 687-2113 to make reservations. Yanina and Marcelo continue their Wednesday and Friday classes from 8-10 p.m. at the Lafayette Dance Center, 3369 Mt.
