Here is the latest information about NORA'S TANGO WEEK 2000 in
Emeryville, California.
The event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Emeryville, the same
place as last year. As with last year there will be a separate TANGO
WEEKEND, July 7th through 9th, as well as a TANGO WEEK July 10th
through 14th. Instructors on board as of this date are as follows:

Fees for TANGO WEEKEND are $290 per person if paid in full by
April 30th. $325 if paid after April 30th.
Fees for TANGO WEEK are $470 per person if paid in full by April
30th. $525 per person if paid after April 30th.
The fee to register in both TANGO WEEK and TANGO WEEKEND is $670
per person.
A deposit of $100 per person secures your registration for any of
our programs.
Our refund policy is: Full refund if canceled by April 15th. Full
refund less $50 if canceled after April 15th and prior to May 15th.
Full refund less $100 if canceled after May 15th and before June 30,
2000. There will be no refunds after June 30, 2000.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR PRIOR PARTICIPANTS:
Participants of TANGO WEEK or WEEKEND in EITHER 1998 OR 1999 may
take a $25 discount from our early enrollment fee if they register for
TANGO WEEK OR WEEKEND and pay in full by February 29th.
Participants of TANGO WEEK in BOTH 1998 AND1999, enrolling in
TANGO WEEK this year, may take a $50 discount from our early
enrollment fee if they register and pay in full by February 29th. A
discount of $25 will apply if enrolling only in TANGO WEEKEND.
Participants of BOTH TANGO WEEK and WEEKEND 1999, may take a $50
discount from the $670 fee if they register once more in BOTH programs
and pay in full by February 29th; otherwise, the discounts stated
above will apply.
Sign-in for TANGO WEEKEND begins July 6th at the Holiday Inn in
Emeryville, CA, in the Top of the Bay Ballroom, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Late arrivals may check-in the morning of July 7th from 9 a.m. to 10
a.m.
Sign-in for TANGO WEEK begins July 9th at the Holiday Inn in
Emeryville, CA, in the Top of the Bay Ballroom, from 5 p.m. until 8
p.m., followed by a 9 p.m. milonga.
Late arrivals may sign-in the morning of July 10th beginning from
9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Sign-in for those registered for both TANGO WEEK and TANGO WEEKEND
can be accomplished at the time you sign-in for TANGO WEEKEND.
All tango classes and milongas will be held at the Holiday Inn at
the Top of the Bay Ballroom (with a stunning view of San Francisco
Bay), located in Emeryville, California, just ten minutes from
downtown San Francisco. When making hotel reservations, mention TANGO
WEEK to obtain a reduced room rate of $99.00 double occupancy. Call

Daily tango lessons will be taught by the masters from Argentina
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Classes will consist of beginner, intermediate
and advanced levels. You do not need a partner to register. Although
we do not guarantee you a partner, we do our best to have an equal
number of men and women.
There will be a milonga with live music every night from July 7 to
July 14.
All registrants will receive a packet which will include
information on the availability of local accommodations,
transportation, maps of nearby points of interest, restaurants, etc.
This packet will be mailed to you within five days of receipt of your
registration.
