Hi gang, Myself and a couple of girlfriends are making plans to spend the week of March 19-25 in Austin, Texas. I'll check the Austin tango website for events but would also like some "insider" qualitative/anecdotal info about where to go and what to see during our trip. I was last there in 1993 so I have some familiarity, but could use an update!
We're planning on lots of dancing (swing, tango, salsa), live music, sightseeing, and Tex-Mex food! Would appreciate recommendations of cheap and fabulous restaurants, clubs with character, other special places, and...inexpensive, decent places to stay. Thanks in advance.
