Milongueros Queridos, I need some help. I am considering adding a line of men's shoes. I am hesitant, though, because I suspect that men buy fewer shoes than women, and keeping shoes in stock is an expensive proposition. I have received many requests for men's shoes but I want to make sure that I am designing a shoe that many men will appreciate.
Here's what I'm thinking: A simple, masculine shoe in black leather or suede. It would have more support than a ballroom shoe but be more flexible than a street shoe. The soles would be hard leather, not too thin, but not clunky and thick either. The heel would be ever so slightly elevated but not a "cuban heel". I would love to hear from men who are serious about wanting shoes. Please write and tell me what you're looking for. Robin Tara
