THE BOSTON TANGO SCHOOL presents: A Workshop in Musicality with Sharna Fabiano June 3-4, 2000
In this course, integrate your knowledge of tango vocabulary with the most compelling aspect of the dance, tango music! Equally useful for leaders and followers, we will work a great deal with quality of movement as well as rhythmic choices and adornments. Explore basic rhythms in tango, the dramatic pause, making your movements dynamic, the power of subtlety, and characteristics of various instruments and orchestras. In partner and group exercises, we will discover skillful, yet personal ways of dancing to the music.
