Nito & Elba August 5th - 17th Los Angeles "Tango de Salon" Nito & Elba are the essence of elegance and style on the dance floor. They are superb representatives of a bygone era of the great salons of tango in Argentina. Consummate teachers who have been dancing, performing and teaching for over 40 years, they tour the world sharing their vast knowledge in a generous, nurturing and open way, which has made them a favorite of tango aficionados at many of today's festivals, from London to Istambul, from Tokyo to NY. Among their many accomplishments: they performed with the famed Osvaldo Pugliese Orchestra, danced in 'Forever Tango', coach some of the top performers of the stage today (such as Guillermina and Roberto), and they were one of the most popular teachers featured in the last two annual Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino in Buenos Aires. They conduct classes in the famed Buenos Aires 'Confiteria Ideal' to packed crowds of young and old alike. They return to Los Angeles to their numerous and devoted fans for a series of classes.
