Agustina Videla and Claudio Asprea are coming to The Danceasy in
September.
Agustina and Claudio have been dance partners since 1997. They
were invited to perform at the "Megaexposicion Tango" organized at the
Palais de Glace in September, 1997, and at the First International Tango
Fair at the Recoleta Cultural Center in Buenos Aires. Their version of
tango "Gallo Ciego" and others were recorded and aired on the Argentine
TV channel Solo Tango, and they appeared several times on the Tango 2000
weekly show on ATC, a widely aired Argentine TV channel.
Agustina and Claudio took part in the fourth Tango Summit in Portugal,
and from May to October, 1998 they performed at the Tango Argentino
show, officially representing the Republic of Argentina. They have
toured Europe several times, teaching and performing. This will be
their third trip to the U.S. to perform and teach, and The Danceasy is
proud to have them here to teach the advanced classes on September 2nd
and 16th, and a special workshop on Sunday the 17th.
