TOMAS AND CHANTAL in residence in Salt Lake City Sept. 5-22
TWO WEEKENDS OF LIVE MUSIC MILONGAS SEPT 9&10, 16&17

Tomas Howlin and Chantal Dauphinais, beautiful dancers and superb teachers
from Montreal, will be teaching a series of classes in Salt Lake City
September 5th-22nd.

Intermediate/ Advanced class series:
Tuesday evenings, Sept 5, 12, and 19, 8-10 pm
This will be a small group class for dancers with at least one year of tango
experience, focused on select topics. Class size will be limited. Phone

Beginning Series, September 7-10:
Thursday September 7th, 8-9:30 pm. "Holding a body"
Friday Septemeber 8th, 8-9:30pm "Musicality"
Saturday September 9th, 12:15 - 1:45pm. "Milonga"
2-3:45pm "Vals & essential turns"
Sunday September 10th, 1-2:30pm "Dance floor survival"
3-4:30pm, "Playing with the systems"

Intermediate Series, September 16 & 17:
Saturday, September 16, 12:30-2:30pm "Milonga"
3-5pm, "Vals and advanced turns"
Sunday, September 17th 1-3pm, "Voleos and paradas"
3:30-5:30pm, "Sacadas"

Class prices: $15/1.5 hr class, $20/2 hr class,

Tomas and Chantal are available for private lessons throughout their stay.

MILONGAS AND PERFORMANCES:
1ST Weekend:
Saturday afternoon, September 9th: Neighborhood Milonga at the Daily Grind
Coffee Shop, 1700 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City.

Saturday evening, September 9th: Tango Performance with Daniel
Diaz(bandoneon) and Victor Sanchez(guitar), + Thomas & Chantal, Park City
UT, 7:00pm. Milonga to follow.

Sunday evening, September 10th: Wasatch Tango Milonga at the Green Street
Social Club, 610 Trolley Square, 8:30-midnight.

2nd Weekend:

Saturday evening, September 16th, 7:00pm. Tango Performance with Daniel Diaz
(bandoneon) and Victor Sanchez(guitar) + Tomas & Chantal, Milonga to follow.
Alta High, Salt Lake City.

Sunday evening, September 17th, 8:30 - midnight. Sue's milonga at the Green
Street Social Club, 610 Trolley Square, Salt Lake City.

visiting dancers who would like a place to stay, and also many comfortable
and reasonable hotels and motels in Salt Lake City and the neighboring ski
resorts - a beautiful time to visit the mountains!
